Setting up an account with Happenstance enables you to have a more personalized experience every time you shop. Signing up with us and setting up an account means that we store your delivery address details. When you've signed up, you don't have to retype all these details every time you order. You can also choose to receive our marketing communications, which include promotions, gift vouchers and new product updates.
All you need to do is go to the login page, click the 'Forgotten your password?' link and put in your account email address/registered mobile number in the box provided. Once you've pressed the 'Next' button, we'll send a new password to your email address. If you're still having problems, just give us a call.
To change any of your personal details – name, contact details, password – log in to your account via the login page and click on 'Change my details and password'. You can then make any changes you need to.
To place your order, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Browse by article of your choice
- View details of the product, select your size and add to "cart"
- Create an account or you may proceed as a guest user
- Enter your shipping address with pin code.
- Please make sure that you check the total amount and products added to your cart before proceeding.
- Next, select the payment option. (Net-Banking/Debit/Credit Card/Wallets or COD)
- To complete the online payment, you will be redirected to our online payment partner.

Yes. It's mandatory to create an account in order to shop on Happenstance.com.
Currently, we don't have any limit to the orders or order value for prepaid orders, although you will be limited to 3 pairs at a time for Cash-on-delivery orders. A message on screen will advise you, when ordering, if you exceed the basket limit. Yes, our delivery options will allow you to have your order delivered to work, home, or anywhere else as long as it's an address within India.
We are committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible. Therefore, once your order is placed, it generally goes immediately into the fulfillment process and may not be cancelled or changed. We are very sorry that the item you need is out of stock. If the product you want to buy is out of stock, click on the 'notify me' button which will show on the product page if we are expecting more in, and we'll send you an email when the product becomes available.

Shipping is entirely free for all prepaid purchases through our website. For cash on delivery (COD) orders, a shipping charge of Rs.150 is applicable for one pair. The charge will be Rs.200 for two pairs and Rs.250 for three pairs respectively.
EMI payment facility is enabled under 'Pay online' option during checkout.
In case, money is debited from your account and the transaction is not successful, please wait 24 hours for the money to be credited back to your account. If the money is not credited back to your account even after 24 hours, then kindly email/call us with below details:
- Transaction ID
- Order Date and amount
- Bank name and payment gateway
- Customer Name and Contact number
Delivery time usually is up to 4-7 working days from Order date. Delivery of products may take longer in Containment zones due to Lockdown imposed by Local authorities. Our team & Delivery partners are following all safety measures to ensure protection, safety of the staff and our customers. Deliveries are subject to state level and/or local restrictions imposed by the authorities as well as the capabilities of our delivery partner. We reserve the right to cancel any order in full or in part. Such cancellation will be communicated to the customers and refunds, if any, will be processed accordingly.

PRODUCT RETURNS & REFUNDS
A request for return can be raised at your recent order detail at 'My Orders' within 48 hours of receipt of product by mentioning the reason for return. Visit our Return Policy Page for more information.
Yes, we will arrange a return pick-up of your order from the original delivery address and the courier shall pick it within 3-5 days of your request. Visit our Returns and Exchange policy page for more info.
A customer may return/exchange unworn shoes on happenstance.com for any valid reason, within 7 days from the date of delivery of the product. Any return/exchange request after the specified period will not be valid. Visit our Returns and Exchange policy page for more info.
Refunds are credited back to the same instrument which was debited. The process generally takes 7-14 working days depending on the bank and the gateway. Happenstance does not have influence on the time lines except processing the refund. The refund will be credited back between 7-14 days after the processing or until your next billing cycle in case it's a credit card. You will receive email intimation from Happenstance about the processing of refund. You will need to then contact your bank or credit card issuer for refund status. In case of COD orders being returned, the same should be done by providing details of one's bank account.
If you have received a damaged\wrong item or believe an item is defective, please contact Customer Service at email@example.com or give a call at + 91 7306 881188 (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) within 24 hours of receiving the product. After 24 hours we will not be able to serve you.
Any unworn shoes can be exchanged due to incorrect size or receipt of a defective item, and the customer will be provided with a replacement of the item, free of any shipping charges. Once an exchange request is initiated, our delivery representative will pick up the original item and will deliver the new item at a later date.
We want to get you the correct size as quickly as possible; we'll ship your exchange as soon as our courier partner has confirmed your original item and the same will be subjected to pass the mandatory quality check. Mostly this process will be completed within 5-7 days.
Happenstance retail stores do not accept any returns for online purchases.

The warranty on HAPPENSTANCE footwear applies to defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the date of product receipt. If a defect occurs within this time, please contact our Customer Service. We will evaluate your request and determine whether the product will be replaced, returned or the purchase price credited.
- Keep your Happenstance styles away from dryer or direct sunlight for long hours, it may lead to deformation and bonding failures.
- You can clean your Happenstance Buoyance footbed and fluffium outsole by gently rubbing it with a soft damp cloth and If necessary, use a soft-bristle toothbrush and mild soap.
- Please do not machine wash suede or nubuck vegan leather material as it may affect the finish.
- Happenstance Knitfit shoes can be safely machine washed in a gentle cycle and air-dried.
- Bringing Happenstance upper material in contact with external tasks such as gear shifting for two wheelers can cause damage to the surface.
- Remove excess dirt from the upper and outsole by using a soft brush or towel
- Remove the laces and insoles (wherever possible).
- Create a soapy mixture by combining water at room temperature and a small amount of mild detergent.
- Place the footwear in the mesh laundry bag to keep them from banging around in your washer. Close the bag and drop the bag into machine.
- Select low spin option.
- Rinses wash the footwear properly.
- Once the wash cycle is complete, take out the footwear from the shoe bag and get it natural air dry.
- Don't put footwear in the machine dryer.
- Don't use artificial means of drying.
Our shoes and sandals are not dedicated for foot orthopedic reliefs, but the anatomically corrected construction and features of our footwear such as raised arch support, heel cup, and cushioning footbed etc. could help in providing comfort factor under those conditions.
Our products can be hand washed or machine washed on gentle cycle. Please see above for machine washing instructions and how to care your Happenstance.
